Empower Youth with Resilience & Courage this Youth Month!

Happy Youth Month, MOT family!

Do YOU want to stop crime, drug abuse, physical abuse and gangsterism among the youth? Help us create young people who use their power and influence to change their environments and communities.

As South Africans, we understand how vulnerable our young people are. If we want to build strong, courageous and resilient youth in our country, we need to provide them with the tools and life-skills to have the courage to live, courage to care and courage to say NO.

MOT SA has been accepted to take part in the June GlobalGiving Accelerator Campaign. This is a HUGE opportunity for us to raise additional funds to expand further into schools, colleges and community organisations in other provinces. We’re running this campaign during Youth Month, to draw much-needed awareness to the importance of life-skills education for the youth.

Once again, MOT SA would like to thank all our MOT youth, coaches, leaders and MOT enthusiasts for your contribution during our March GlobalGiving campaign. With your support, we were able to raise R8000 which trains and supports six MOT coaches to facilitate the programmes with the youth. This is amazing, but we can do so much better!

GlobalGiving is a global fundraising platform and therefore will provide great exposure for MOT. In order to secure our spot on this platform, we are going to need the help of the entire MOT family and extended MOT enthusiast community.

Starting today, 12 June 2017, MOT has until 30 June 2017 to raise $5000 (R64 239) from 40 unique donors. It’s definitely possible but we will need help from all our supporters!

This time around, we have amazing giveaways up for grabs each week to thank our contributors for their valuable and generous support. This week, donate $10 or more to our GlobalGiving campaign and you stand a chance to WIN FOUR TICKETS to witness out MOT AMbassador, DHL Stormers Captain, Siya Kolisi, in action at DHL Newlands on Saturday, 8 July 2017.

Do you have R130 ($10) to spare? If you are unable to donate to our cause, please do consider helping us as a MOT advocate. SHARE our campaign posts to your fans and followers on your social media platforms or FORWARD this email to friends and family who have seen the impact MOT has had on your life and the lives around you. Your input and support matters. Every little bit counts!

Invest in our youth. Invest in our future.

Visit the MOT GlobalGiving page and donate to our campaign. For donations $80 (R1000) or more, MOT SA can provide a Section 18A certificate, which you can use for personal tax deduction.

With love & gratitude
The MOT SA Team xo.
