MOT South Africa, a non-profit organisation specialising in life-skills training amongst the youth, held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 7 June 2010 in the Auditorium at the College of Cape Town, Crawford Campus. During the meeting, Prof Eltie Links, chairperson of the board of MOT South Africa, paid tribute to the MOT presenters and board members who dedicate their time and skills to implement this vital life-skills programme and to the sponsors, who invest in the development of the youth of South Africa.
Larry Rodger, from RSM Betty & Dickson (Cape Town), presented the audited annual financial statements to the meeting and committed his firm’s continuing auditing services on a pro bono basis to MOT South Africa. The meeting also confirmed the Board members of MOT South Africa, which include Prof Eltie Links as chairperson, Prof John Volmink, Zozo Siyengo, Kaya Nyati, Brian Eagar, Jannie Isaacs, Atlé Vårvik and the CEO, Wanda Möller. Trish van der Merwe and Aré Hovstad are two alternate board members. During the meeting, Natalie Becker, actress and well-known media personality, was introduced as a brand ambassador for MOT South Africa.
