Presenters Training for the implementation of the MOT Youth Programme by Peer Educators

On Monday, 17 February 2014, eight College Presenters attended a 1-day MOT Youth Peer Educators workshop to train youth as MOT Peer Educators in FET Colleges. The MOT Youth Programme is about training 2nd year MOT students to present the MOT programme, either to their peers or to the 1st year MOT students. They will work with the MOT Presenters at the campuses and assist with the facilitation of the MOT programme.

On Tuesday, 18 February 2014, 22 delegates attended the MOT College Presenters Refresher training workshop at Encore Conference Centre, Northlink College, Tygerberg Campus. The workshop facilitators included Angelo Geldenhuys, Nizaam Pasha, Chrismen Geldenhuys, Somayah Achmat and Elroy Duckitt. On Wednesday, 19 February 2014, 15 delegates attended the MOT Schools Refresher training at False Bay College, Muizenberg.  The workshop facilitators included Regis Magama, Monsurio Mallum, Nicole McNamara, Sigrun Vårvik, Morten Laache and Elroy Duckitt.
