Overcoming Your Self-Doubts #CourageoverFear

MOT South Africa’s theme for the year is #CourageoverFear

Courage is the willingness to do something that scares or frightens you. It is a choice that we can make over fear. Being courageous does not mean that we are not afraid. Being courageous means we are fearful but we choose to face our fears and take a step forward.

This year we need to drink our own cool-aid and stop hiding behind fear. We need to go ahead with our dreams and goals despite any obstacles.

Shakespeare once said: “Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.” This means that our doubts make us afraid to try, and because of this, we miss out on the opportunity for a positive outcome.

Our thoughts are the biggest factor that can make or break our lives. Our Brand Ambassador, Ayanda Dlamini says: “Be careful with your words and thoughts as they have power. I will create, as I speak”. We speak and think things into existence. Therefore, it’s important that we change our thinking from negative to positive. It has a beneficial impact on both physical and mental well-being, which in turn will help you cope better with stress, and ultimately have a lower risk of premature death.

“When you squash your self-doubts, you attain the powers to conquer every battle. Crush your self-doubts, not your dreams.” – Ambreen Nadeem

If your self-doubts are not helping you, crush them before it crushes you and your dream.

Do not wait until you see your dreams falling apart and become a memory.

Here’s to having the #CourageoverFear
