MOT Youth Inspiration and Training Event

On 7 November 2015, the MOT Youth Inspiration Event took place to celebrate MOT Youth from Buren High School, COSAT, Spine Road High School, Silikamva High School, Simon’s Town High School, South Peninsula High School, College of Cape Town, False Bay College, Northlink College and West Coast College. They were selected for their attendance of the MOT Youth camp where they were trained as MOT Youth peer educators, as well for their active involvement in the MOT programme this year.

They all had the opportunity to present their Courage to Care days, community outreach projects and other initiatives they have implemented in their local communities. The high school learners trained as MOT Youth, also presented the progress they have made at presenting MOT sessions for primary school learners with much success.

Their plans for 2016 was also presented, demonstrating their commitment to the MOT programme.

A MOT badge was handed over to each MOT Youth, honouring their involvement and commitment to MOT’s youth development work.

South African media personality, Ayanda Dlamini, also attended the event and delivered a powerful and though-provoking message for the youth.
