Meet Corné Morgan, one of our inspiring MOT Youth from Burgersdorp in the Eastern Cape. He joined the MOT Programme in 2023 and has already shown what it means to live with courage.
Because of his positive attitude and the way he embodies MOT’s core values, Corné was selected to become a Young MOTivator, a youth leader who inspires others by leading with care, showing courage, and serving as a positive role model in their school and community.
Here’s Corné’s story:
A Spark Within By Corné Morgan
When I started MOT, a journey began.
With MOT, I found the Courage to care, to look out for others and treat people with kindness.
I’ve learned to have the Courage to say no to peer pressure, and how to stay true to myself, even when things get tough.
MOT taught me to have the Courage to live with purpose. To be like a flashlight in the dark. To focus on the positive, and not let challenges block my view.
When things felt heavy, I remembered what MOT taught me, and I stood tall and strong.
I’ve learned to lead, to care and share, and to believe in myself.
Each day, I try to be a better person, not just for me, but for those around me too.
MOT has had a big impact on my life.
Today, I try to be someone others can look up to, a leader with a strong heart and a clear mind. I’m so grateful for the lessons I’ve learned through MOT.
It’s helped me become the person I am today, and I know it will guide me in the future too.
With courage, care, and a flashlight mindset, Corné’s just getting started. Thank you for sharing your story, Corné!
