Andiswa Makha, previously a MOT coach and teacher at COSAT, joined the MOT team in 2017. She grew up in Khayelitsha and attended COSAT High School.
Andiswa studied Journalism at Rhodes University for two years and holds a Human and Social Sciences degree, specializing in Development Studies, from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
Since her time at MOT, Andiswa has trained over 300 educators and 600 youth leaders, facilitating over 16 MOT Life-Skills workshops. She was selected as one of 700 outstanding young African Leaders to participate in the Mandela Washington Fellowship Programme in 2021, with a particular focus on leadership and skills development in Civic Engagement, facilitated by Georgia University, USA.
Andiswa continues to channel her passion and energy toward unlocking the potential of youth in South Africa and beyond.
