Johann Olav Koss was, together with Atle Vårvik, initiator to MOT in 1994. Johann is an international and visionary leader and was declared “One of 100 Future Leaders of Tomorrow” in TIME Magazine in 2011, and “One of 1000 Global Leaders” in World Economic Forum. Johann has a degree in medicine and is Executive MBA. He is recognized as one of the best speed skaters of all time. In 1994, he was awarded the sportsman of the year by Sports Illustrated. He got the Fearnley Olympic Award in 1994, and Jesse Owen’s International Trophy in 1995.
