MOT Coaches’ Basic Education for Schools – Fifth one for 2026!

We are proud to share that MOT South Africa has successfully hosted our fifth MOT Coaches Training of 2026, this time in Burgersdorp, Eastern Cape, and what a special experience it was.

We proudly welcome a new cohort of dedicated MOT Coaches from Burgersdorp who have stepped forward to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people in their community. Each training reminds us that courage is contagious, and this group truly embodied that spirit.

Over the three days, participants journeyed through self-reflection, powerful discussions, role playing, and practical facilitation tools rooted in MOT’s core principles: Courage to Live, Courage to Care, and Courage to Say No. There were moments of vulnerability, laughter, shared stories, and meaningful connection.

Each new coach represents:

  • A safe space for a young person
  • A role model who leads by example
  • A voice that encourages resilience and positive choices
  • A champion for courage and care

We are deeply encouraged by the passion and commitment shown by this cohort. As they return to their schools and communities, they carry with them a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility. Burgersdorp, we see you, and we are excited about the impact that will follow.

With heartfelt appreciation, we extend our sincere thanks to SCATEC for your valued support in making this Burgersdorp training possible and for investing in the growth and development of our youth.
