MOT SA Empowers Youth with Life Skills at JP21 Foundation Winter Programme 2026

We were truly honoured to partner once again with the JP21 Foundation during their Winter Programme this April at Hyacinth Primary School in Mitchell’s Plain. Coming together for this programme felt especially meaningful, as both organisations share the same heart for supporting young people and creating spaces where they feel safe, seen, and encouraged to be themselves.

The MOT sessions were interactive and conversation-driven, allowing learners to speak openly, listen to one another, and learn through shared experiences. Topics such as getting to know themselves, and their peers, confidence, teamwork, communication, and resilience were explored in a way that felt relatable and practical for everyday life. The energy in the room showed just how important it is for young people to have a space where their voices are heard.

By combining sport, life skills, and positive role modelling, the Winter Programme offered more than just a holiday activity, it provided meaningful experiences that learners can carry with them long after the programme ended.

We are deeply grateful to the JP21 Foundation for trusting MOT South Africa as a training partner once again. Being part of a programme that invests in young people, supports their wellbeing, and encourages them to believe in themselves is something we are incredibly proud of.

More about the JP21 Foundation’s Holiday Clinic

The JP21 Foundation was founded in 2015 by JP Duminy, a former South African cricketer and a MOT Brand Ambassador. The Foundation’s Holiday Clinic programme provides learners with the opportunity to participate in cricket activities and life skills engagement. The foundation has a long-term goal of reigniting the passion for cricket in underprivileged communities and schools, promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle, and providing learners with the opportunity to have fun while playing cricket.
