Siya Kolisi (full name Siyamthanda Kolisi) is a DHL Stormers rugby player and a proud family man.

Both family and youth development are very important to Siya and he hopes that his new journey with the MOT family will fuel, motivate and inspire the MOT youth to positively influence others.

Siya grew up in a small township in Port Elizabeth. At the age of 12, he impressed scouts at a youth tournament in Mossel Bay and was offered a scholarship at Grey Junior in PE, but that was just the beginning for the young rugby super star. In 2015, Siya fought his way into both the Stormers and the Springbok frame.

Siya had a tough upbringing and is therefore aware of the struggles the youth in South Africa face today. He is proud and humbled by the opportunities he has received and does whatever he can to give back to the youth in his community.
Siya’s family of five includes; his wife, Rachel, son Nick and Siya’s half-siblings, Liyema and Liphelo.

Siya shares his message of inspiration to the youth:
Dream it, believe it and you can make it or achieve it, no matter who says you can't! Only you can stop yourself! How's that?! Your past shouldn't determine your future but you can use your past as your motivation and drive to be whatever you want to be in life!
