Courage to Care Day Campaign 2023

Courage to care day MOT south africa youth

Courage to Care Day is a special day dedicated to spreading kindness, love, and compassion to everyone around us. It is a day to reflect on the importance of caring for others and for ourselves. It is celebrated annually and aims to bring people together to show appreciation and love for one another.

Our goal is to give back to kids who attend rural and farm schools across the province by providing them with donations of school uniforms, clothing, stationery, and textbooks. All donations received from the campaign will be given to these children to help create a more equitable and just society by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their education.

About Courage to Care Day

The celebration of Courage to Care day started in Norway and progressed to the rest of the MOT Countries.

It is aligned with one of the core values of MOT, the Courage to Care, which is all about showing care and respect to others and ourselves and giving them Jet fuel, which means being that light for someone and including those that are left out.

This day is similar to Mandela Day, which is a day to honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela and his vision of creating a better world through kindness and compassion. Courage to Care day also embodies this spirit by encouraging people to positively impact their communities and bring happiness to those around them.

On Courage to Care Day, take a moment to spread kindness and joy to everyone you meet. Whether through small acts of kindness or more significant gestures, every effort to show care and compassion can make a difference.

Projects MOT SA will be participating in
  • Courage to Care Day Badges – By purchasing and wearing this badge, individuals can show their commitment to making a positive impact and can spread the message of MOT’s vision of creating a warmer and safer society. It is a simple yet powerful way to raise awareness about the importance of showing kindness and compassion to others.
  • Collection Drive – The collection of school uniforms, clothing, stationery, and textbooks for rural schools. This simple act of kindness can help to create a more equitable and just society by providing children with the tools they need to succeed in their education.
  • Make MOT a beneficiary– Sign up for your FREE MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card and make MOT South Africa one of your beneficiaries at no cost to you. Sign up here
  • Donate to MOT – Another way to show your kindness is to donate R100 to MOT.
This donation can help positively impact our youth. In a world where negativity and hardships often dominate the headlines, this campaign is a reminder that love and compassion can still make a difference.

MOT invites everyone to participate in the projects listed above, as well as to make their own acts of kindness on Courage to Care day. This can be as simple as volunteering your time, making a donation, or simply spreading kindness and positivity to those around you. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of others and bring joy to the world.

Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of others and bring joy to the world. Every effort counts.

So join us in the celebration of Courage to Care day, and let’s make a difference by spreading kindness, care, and love to everyone we meet. With your help, we can create a warmer and safer society and build a brighter future for all.
