Overcoming my fears through MOT

My name is Stephanie Domingo, and this is my story of how I overcame my fears.

I was never the type of person to interact with people nor to speak in public and communicate with others. I never had the confidence to be the person I am today. I always thought that should I speak out or give my opinion, I would be laughed at. I never believed I could face my fears. Then I was introduced to MOT.

In 2017, I started my MOT journey.

It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. MOT helped me face my fears and overcome them all through interaction with others: the youth, and the community where I had to stand in front of around 100 students telling them all about this amazing organization. I even started motivating the youth and it brings me so much joy because I never in a million years thought I would be able to. Being a part of the MOT programme has contributed to the confident person I am today.

Everything I have overcome made me believe in myself and that I can do anything I set my mind to.

5 Daily Reminders I live by:

  1. I am amazing
  2. I can do anything through Christ
  3. Positivity is a choice
  4. The courage to say NO and not to feel bad about it
  5. I am prepared to succeed

I truly believe that MOT can change your life! And I am truly blessed to be part of such an amazing organization.

I am always motivated by the 3 MOT values:

THE COURAGE TO CARE, THE COURAGE TO LIVE, THE COURAGE TO SAY NO
