In February 2026, we were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to roll out the first pilot of our SRC Value-Based Leadership Programme at our partner institution, West Coast TVET College. The session brought together 50 Student Representative Council (SRC) members. It was inspiring to see students openly share their experiences, learn from one another, and begin meaningful conversations about leadership, values, and service within their college community.
The programme focused on practical, value-based leadership, with conversations centred around courage, accountability, service, and ethical decision-making. Through open dialogue and hands-on activities, students were encouraged to think honestly about their roles as SRC members and what it means to lead with purpose, fairness, and respect for those they represent.
We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity to present this pilot programme and for the warm welcome and active participation from the West Coast TVET College students.
Their energy, honesty, and willingness to engage made the session both impactful and memorable. This pilot represents an important step in our journey to support strong, principled student leadership, and we look forward to strengthening this partnership and growing the programme going forward.
